so, we have an office space at Markham and Steeles. It nice and big. 2200 sf with ton of offices and boardroom etc. but unfortunately i hate driving to markham everyday. The drive sux and the drivers are even worse. So, i subleased the unit and started looking for space downtown. While looking for a space, the team went virtual. SKYPE, VOIP, GoTo Meetings .. crazy. Its been so good and comfortable AND PRODUCTIVE that i am debating the need for a big office. So, my plan is to bring the account team in house and keep the code team virtual. We will do our monday and friday conference using SKYPE and maybe video conferencing solutions but it would be a virtual team. We do this with our office in INDIA so why not try it here…

i finally made the announcement over the weekend. It feels great to be talking about RBC desiFEST again. We are going to Montreal and Vancouver this year! how crazy is that…they said this was not possible, and now in 60 days, our first national city stop is going to happen. ITS GOING TO BE CRAZY!

I will keep as much of this blogged and captured in audio and video. I am also going to get a few more ppl to blog on this and capture the groups thoughts on this..

so, i was thinking about all the different public figures that i consider to be my idols..i wanted to started making a list and see how big it gets..

Rajini is the classic rags to riches story. He was discovered while working as a ticket conductor on the buses of South India. He went on to become the BIGGEST icon in the South Asian market.

He is very humble and spiritual. I wonder what it must be like for an entire country to adore you.

momentum is a funny thing. its hard to get into a momentum a.k.a groove but when you do, things start to flow in your favor. Somehow the universe lines up opportunities for you. There is a catch in that we don’t know if these are good or bad opportunities THAT IS SOMETHING WE NEED TO FIGURE OUT but opportunities do come ..

3 months ago i decided that we need a mobile strategy within our overall consumer strategies and started to work on a plan to see how we can incorporate this into blueband … since then,

1. i got invited to a mobile showcase event (had no clue what the event was until i showed up)

2. met 2 mobile companies through random introductions

3. a mobile project showed up in the radar

4. possible BIG account in 2008 (i can’t say anymore it)

I have always believed in the power of momentums and try to be aware of it within my life cycles. Its a wonderful thing.

So, how do you generate momentum,

1. the idea MUST have passion behind it

2. you must be able to visualize the final outcome of whatever you desire

3. be open to all possibilities

4. explore every coincidence as its never an accident

5. listen to your gut

So, happy new year..and may the gods of momentum shine on you.

it feels great! desiFEST is activated (www.desifest.ca) we have two big online project to kick-start and I get to network and build more business! 2008 is going to be exciting and also more challenging. we have big growth plans and they can only happen with incredible focus and total team commitment.

i love gadgets! i would be alot richer today if i didn’t have this “new gadget” problem. I was going to get an iPHONE in 2008, but the new blackberry has got my attention… patience patience patience…. anybody else with the “new gadget disease”?

Again, this could be the real deal, a hoax, or some unrelated prototype. But one thing is for sure: iPhones and Blackberries are on a collision course. Since newborns grow out of a clothing size every month or so in the first half year of their lives, German Lütte-Leihen came up with a solution: a layette rental service for a fixed fee per month. Parents can choose from different sets of onesies, pyjamas and outerwear. The clothes are delivered by post (or by hand to Hamburg and its suburbs). Once babies grow out of a size, the set can be exchanged for the next size up, free of charge. Like Netflix for baby clothes.

Lütte-Leihen’s 9 – 11 piece sets come in a limited range of neutral colours and patterns, and include everything from bodysuits and pyjamas to socks and hats. Pricing ranges from EUR 17 – 26 per month, depending on which set is selected. The clothing may be used, but it’s in great condition; the items are only used for a short while by each baby, and there’s not much wear and tear in the first six months. Moreover, most of the clothing provided by Lütte-Leihen is made from 100% organic cotton.

Besides saving parents the expense of clothes that are only worn briefly, Lütte-Leihen’s service spares them the hassle of shopping for new items in a period when time is at a premium.
